Really Good attention, close to the consulate also alway ready to answer any concern. Definitely I recommend .
Nice quite place. Nice rooms. Love the structure architect
This place is amazing, decent and very safe. 10 min drive to the border. The staff here are awesome very helpful. We are staying here for our consulate appt. Don Armando will take you to and from all your Consulate appt and fingerprint. It's extra for records, picking up the package and taking it to the border and have it stamped and ready for crossing the next day. For the medical it preferable the (CMI)CLINICA MEDICA INTERNACIONAL let the staff know that you are going whatever day and they call them to pick you up and when done the drop you off for free but don't forget to tip. They pick you up at 530am and it's a 3hr procedure. They'll give you a wrist band to know they dropped you off. Lol. -They have a small kitchen 4 burner stove, cooking pans and cooking spoons 2 fridge 1 table inside and 1 outside and a kitchen sink. -You provide your own groceries. You can bring your own kitchen supplies. -There are a few restaurants in walking distance that are delicious. For breakfast you can go to Rigel or Viva Mexico and lunch or dinner La Sirena Morena. -If you want to go out our taxi driver Hugo is a cool person. He knows the family that owns the hotel so that is good a person that knows a person. -I personally had to pack for my baby so I brought everything from home. My own towels, blankets, pillows and toiletries. "All I can say is that they help out alot!" My husband was told that he didn't need the mexican criminal record since he crossed illegally at age 13, but the lady here Doña Mela said it's better to HAVE IT ON HAND THAN NOT. A girl that had crossed of 3yrs old was asked for it and they delayed her appt for not having it plus, It was only 100 pesos. Thank God for her because that was the 1ST document that they asked for in the Interview. Oh and our vehicles coolant container had a rupture and was leaking and the owner Mr. Carlos was nice enough to buy and bring us the piece from El Paso, Tx. In order to fix it. The Autozones Here in Mx. didn't have the piece until a week later. They do not go in your room. You are responsible to clean your room. You pay for the room when you are ready to go home. Because you don't know how many days you are here for. Which is very reasonable.
Decently priced. Hospitality was outstanding. The owner had all the answers to our needs. Free transportation from Hotel to consulate and vice versa. Clean rooms and nice family ambience. I have told my friends who are coming to Juarez for their consulate appointment to book with them. No need for pricey hotels around consulate. They will take care of you!!!
Is fine.. front desk is super cool, just need sone updates
The place is perfect, the staff is helpful, especially Mr. Armando, they help you if you have doubts or questions about the consulate hours , and they are also economical
Very good place to stay, with a kitchen on the side
Posada San Nicolás, my experience. With little information provided on social media, I have to admit that I was skeptical about this place, but at the end of the day I've picked this hotel for 2 main reasons. 1. Price is unbeatable, and hello!! you are having your own bathroom. I know, right!!, lol. Let me tell you, that I've researched and most "posada guest houses" you have to share a bathroom. So yeah this is what made me stay here. the price for 1 person is $450 pesos per day, I don't know how much it is per family, which most customers came with their families. 2. A friend of mine has also recommended that I have my stay at this hotel, many years ago himself had his stay there as well. The area is nice, is super safe, I stayed for 14 days, I was walking to the store, and going to eat, and nothing unusual ever happened. Don Armando, whom has been working for so many years at San Nicolás will be driving you to your consular appointments. Any extra trips, such as picking up your package, or taking you to the airport, getting groceries, etc, would cost you; but no that much, Don Armando is the driver for all your needs, he is a nice guy. Most consular trips are made in groups, with people that have similar times for their appointments. Everybody I saw at San Nicolás were staying there for Consular appointments as well, so in my opinion is a good thing that we traveled as a pack, because we can talk about our concerns, and learn from each other things like: what the embassy won't let you bring in, what extra documents you gonna need, where to get them, etc. If you go to México to fix your situation with the embassy, I would totally recommend this "posada hotel" Now for some reviews, I will agree in the cold season rooms are freezing, so make sure to bring a nice coat to wear in your room! and yes, beds are somewhat worn out, but rooms are clean and you have what you need in your room. Frankly, I think that that is a small price to pay to save big money while you are at Juárez. My trip wasn't vacacional anyway. There are fancier Hotels indeed, and closer to the embassy, but they will be very pricey. Keep on mind that you could be staying there for a few extra days though. The owner, Doña Mela is super nice, talks to you as if you were a family member, also she has gained a lot of experience on consular cases, someone you can talk to, and she never misses your appointments, she writes all down, and don Armando will be there to pick you up on time. They have been helping people for many years for what I heard from my friend. I gave her a hug when I left. I did miss Doña Mela & Don Armando when I had to leave. That tells you one thing, they made me feel that my stay with them was the right choice. Thanks for reading, I hope this helps you to decide where to stay
